Things to Do in Bennett Valley in August 2026
Golden hills, ripening vineyards, and one last stretch of long summer evenings before the school bells ring. Here’s everything worth putting on your calendar this month.
Calendar confirmed against official sources · last checked July 2026
August is Bennett Valley at its most golden. The hills above Matanzas Creek fade from green to amber, the Bennett Valley AVA vineyards along Bennett Valley Road are heavy with fruit ahead of harvest, and the whole valley slows into that unmistakable end-of-summer rhythm — patio dinners at Iron & Vine, one last splash at the Spring Lake lagoon, and the Sonoma County Fair rolling right down the street.
Whether you’re a longtime Yulupa Avenue local or just passing through Sonoma County wine country, here’s a real, chronological look at what’s happening in and around Bennett Valley this August — plus a few neighborhood favorites worth working into your plans any day of the month.
